Featured Speaker: JIM TARMANN – Jim is the Field Services Director for the Illinois Corn Growers Association and Illinois Corn Marketing Board based in Bloomington, IL. He is responsible for working with organizational leaders to promote the importance of the corn industry to members, producers, state and federal officials and the general public. He is the coordinator and primary administrator for membership recruitment and producer educational programs. Under his direction more than 20,000 individuals have had an opportunity to take a firsthand look at the challenges we face with our inland waterway transportation system through educational barge tours in the Upper-Mississippi River Basin.
